The Triplex DVR with Built-In 7" LCD Monitor is relatively affordable and is as professional as surveillance DVRs get, that’s for both residential and commercial use. The DVR has four channels, which means it can work with up to four cameras. It also has the latest video format compression of H.264 enabling the user to save more video on less hard drive. Furthermore - what makes this DVR really unique is its flip top monitor. This 7 inch monitor saves space and cost, plus it carries over an excellent picture.

The DVR is a Triplex DVR. Triplex means the DVR can perform three functions all at the same time while being viewed by multiple viewers. Those three functions are: the DVR can remain recording - that’s the first function, while the user is viewing footage in playback mode - that’s the second function, and it can also stay recording while being viewed in real-time online in the network mode by multiple viewers - that’s the third function.

Another valued feature of this DVR is that is supports Dynamic DNS (domain name system). This means there is one stable and consistent address associated with the DVR. In other words, it’s a smart DVR that allows for remote viewing from any internet connection worldwide without having to change the domain name or install software.

The DVR supports one SATA hard drive (not included) with a USB back-up option. The DVR can be programmed to record on a continuous mode, a motion detection mode, when a sensor is triggered, or by a timed schedule. The DVR also has video display modes which include: full screen, sequence, and the quad channel. Also included in the kit are a remote control, a power cord and adapter, a BNC to RCA cable, software CD, and the user manual.
